1. Warranty Coverage

1.1 All new lighting products purchased from Bounce Lighting Pty Ltd (“the Supplier”) shall be covered by a replacement warranty period of three (3) years, unless a longer warranty period is expressly stated on project data sheets submitted and approved at the time of purchase.

1.2 The warranty period shall commence from the date of purchase of the Goods and shall continue for the benefit of the original owner until the expiry of the applicable warranty period.

1.3 Products are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship and to conform to the manufacturer’s specifications when used under normal daily operating conditions.

2. LED Drivers and Extended Manufacturer Warranties

2.1 Certain products, including but not limited to LED drivers, may be covered by a longer warranty period offered directly by the manufacturer.

2.2 Bounce Lighting Pty Ltd does not extend its own warranty beyond three (3) years under any circumstances.

2.3 Where a product carries a warranty period longer than three (3) years, such extended coverage is provided by the manufacturer. Any claims beyond the three-year Supplier warranty must be made directly with the manufacturer in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty claim process and policy.

2.4 The limitation in 2.2 applies regardless of site conditions, operating hours, or manufacturer representations.

3. Exclusions and Limitations

3.1 This is a replacement-only warranty. The Supplier shall not be liable for: (a) Labour costs associated with removal, reinstallation, or commissioning of products; (b) Accidental damage, misuse, or installation in environments that are unsuitable for the product’s specifications; (c) Products that have been altered, tampered with, or modified prior to or after installation; (d) Any consequential or indirect loss, damage, or expense.

3.2 The warranty is valid only where products are installed by a licensed electrician.

3.3 Compliance with the manufacturer’s installation and maintenance instructions is a condition of this warranty. Failure to comply will void the warranty.

4. Warranty Claims

4.1 In order to make a claim under this Supplier warranty, the Owner must: (a) Contact Bounce Lighting Pty Ltd to obtain a Returned Goods Authorisation (RGA) Number; (b) Provide original documentation or proof of purchase; and (c) Return the goods, at the Owner’s sole expense, to Bounce Lighting Pty Ltd with the corresponding RGA Number.

4.2 The Supplier shall, upon verification of the warranty claim, replace the defective product with an equivalent product (or, at its discretion, a product of comparable specification where the original is no longer available).

4.3 Where a product carries a warranty period longer than three (3) years, any claims beyond the Supplier’s three-year warranty must be made directly with the manufacturer in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty claim process and policy.

5. General

5.1 This warranty is in addition to, and does not exclude, restrict, or modify, any rights or remedies to which the Owner may be entitled under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

5.2 To the extent permitted by law, the liability of Bounce Lighting Pty Ltd is limited to the remedies set out in these terms.
